I explore gesture, color, and compositional rhythm, using acrylic paint, ink, and watercolor. I am interested in openness rather than resolution. Images feel complete yet remain suggestive, inviting reflection and emotional resonance rather than literal representation. My paintings emerge through a balance of intention and responsiveness, allowing materials to guide the image while maintaining structural coherence.

The work focuses on the human figure, particularly women and their relationships in all aspects of life. Images explore the interplay between inner and outer worlds, the seen and the unseen.  I view the creative process as a gateway.  Drawing and painting lifts the illusory veil between the physical and metaphysical, illuminating the sacred in everyday moments.

Along side an earlier career outside the arts, I’ve sustained a studio practice for many years.  I am committed to painting as a contemplative, ongoing, and evolving practice. My work has been shown in Arizona and New Mexico both in solo and group exhibitions.
